Well on Thursday and Friday we spent the whole day rehearsing for our drama production of 'Forever'. Michael kept missing his cues and lost his bag full of props, Bethany had to be taught how to shout and we had to create the ending from scratch in a matter of minutes. HOWEVER, it was a really nice two days. We didn't have a break and only had ten minutes for dinner but we all got really into rehearsing and me and Siobhan perfected our lesbian scene followed by the argument. It was the first dress rehearsel as well with props as well as costumes - it was strange working with the masks in the first scene! We also had the staging set out correctly in the drama studio and all the music was sorted out.
In both afternoons we performed out play in front of all fifty-odd other drama students and got assessed - apparently we did very well - before watching the other groups perform. It was strange because everybody else did comedies whereas ours was a tragedy but whereas the other plays made me cry with laughter, our play made our audience gasp in shock.
On Saturday I went into town with Jess to get a clutch for prom as well as some lacy underwear. We then went for coffee and had a lovely catch-up. At night I met Claudia at Vue and we got tickets to see Let The Right One In as I am reading it at the minute and it's amazing but the guy at the desk told us that it was in Swedish so we decided to see The Unborn instead.
However, it didn't start for over an hour so we walked to the arcade instead. We thought we wouldn't be allowed in as it's supposed to be 18+ after 8pm but nobody said anything so we sat down near the bar. Claudia then saw some guys she knew playing pool near us so we sat with them for a bit which was nice.
THEN THE FILM WAS SO SCARY. I liked the twist at the end. I thought it would just be a ghost one so I was pleased that it was psychological as well. It was better than I thought it would be.
Thursday is prom. I am really excited!
