I watched for the first time last night and despite it's shocking plotline (which is from the novel so can't really be helped), the fantastic acting and Tim Burton more than made up for it. Johnny Depp was hilarious as the hopeless detective. I laughed out loud at the following scene:
My mood is horrible and I haven't even anything medical to blame anymore.
