On Thursday night me and Heather went to see Basshunter for free at the Apollo with "The
Blackout Crew" supporting. And what a joke they were. Basshunter was all right I suppose - he interacted with the audience and I don't mind his music but his dancers were orange girls wearing no clothes and the audience wasn't much better, with 12 year olds in their underwear and neon tutus galore. However, we danced a lot, figuring that we might as well go OTT just to piss everybody off. And piss them off we did.
On Friday we all went to The Rice Bowl in town for Alice's 17th. We drank white wine and I ate had sushi and crab meat, mmm. We then had a stroll through the Northern Quarter and it was lovely spending hours with such an amazing group of people once again :} xx.
Saturday I saw Blood Brothers for the third (or is it fourth?) time and yet again I laughed AND cried. In fact, I cried more this time than the others. The acting was fantastic as per and I found myself reciting the script in my head from memory. And because we studied it for drama theory last year. <3>
Oh and sad as it is, I also cried at Jamie Archer's performance on The X Factor last night. I should really stop watching television, I was doing so well ;(. On the plus side, I bought The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, a studded leather jacket FINALLY, black skinny jeans, Lush soap and a pink dress in town yesterday.
