If you're ever in Whitefield

I don't know why anybody would ever go to Whitefield. There's nothing actually here apart from a couple of Italian restaurants, pubs, co-ops and schools. The rest of Whitefield is just houses, inhabited by religious people (Whitefield is lucky enough to have it's very own Mormon church) and twelve year olds that smoke and wear black hoods even when it's sunny. However, if you are in Whitefield for whatever reason, you really should pop into the Mad Hatter's cafe, opposite Morrison's. It's wonderful. Aside from the usual sandwiches, coffees and jacket potatoes, the cafe boasts an enticing Caribbean menu with curried goat, jerk chicken and enough rice and beans to keep you going until Christmas. With a friendly atmosphere and even friendlier prices it's probably the best thing in Whitefield.
