Today has been really good despite thinking everyone was on one and thinking my life was ruined as a result of some shady bastard business that went on the night before.
Anyway. It wasn't completely lazy: I did go to a lecture at 9am and read an entire play about a woman dying of cancer AND submit my essay but that's were my productivity ended because I spent literally the whole day (from about 10 until 5ish) wrapped up in Becky's duvet eating noodles, drinking black coffee, talking ourselves to death and watching the entire second season of Made in Chelsea.
It was wonderful.
It then went downhill as I went to the first debate of the year with the Salford Debating Society and I won't lie, it sucked. Part of that was probably because I met the chairman last night and as soon as I walked away, he told my boyfriend that I'm a hideous tramp or something along the lines of so I was a little fucked off, for want of a better phrase, throughout the debate. Which was about whether the monarchy should be abolished, which to be honest, I really have no opinion on.
Anyway, then I came home and sat in my toasty kitchen (finally beginning to appreciate the heated seating!) drinking beautiful hot chocolate with Elliot and Alex while Sam fell asleep with his head on my lap, too cute.
As of Thursday, I will be swapping Starbucks for real Belgian hot chocolate at the German Markets! My favourite time of year is coming, I cannot wait!
