Does it really matter that she's overweight? NO. I am sick and tired of hearing boys my age say "I love Adele, shame she isn't fit though" and post statuses such as "Adele will be 23 soon. Tonnes that is". It's not funny, it's childish and to be quite frank, her weight is irrelevant.
I like Adele because she has a beautiful voice and makes music that I like to listen to, regardless of whether she's 8 stone and shimmying around in a thong on national TV or overweight and not flaunting her body in order to get the number one spot.
Nobody would care if J.K.Rowling was fat or if Sabrina Ward Harrison was (a mixed media artist) because their creations are what matters and it should be the same in the music business. Girls shouldn't have to be "hot" and half naked to avoid hurtful comments and jokes at their expense. If you want sex then go and read FHM, not NME.
I personally would prefer Rihanna if she left some clothes ON.
